France may provide Ukraine with additional Mirage 2000 fighter jets

France to hand over Mirage 2000 fighter jets to Ukraine

France is also working to accelerate the supply of missiles and drones, which Ukraine has identified as a priority

According to Censor.NET, French President Emmanuel Macron said this in an interview with Le Parisien.

According to the newspaper, the recent interception of a Russian missile by a Ukrainian Mirage 2000 has been widely publicised. Against this background, Macron said that he did not rule out the provision of additional aircraft, in particular from third countries that have such fighters in service.

At the same time, La Dépêche, citing Macron's words, reports that France is also working to speed up the supply of missiles and drones, which Ukraine has identified as a priority.

Ukraine received the first such aircraft from Paris in February 2025.

To recap, Defence Minister Rustem Umierov announced that Ukraine would receive even more modern aircraft this year.
