Umerov and Palisa to travel to Saudi Arabia for negotiations with U.S. – media

Ukraine will send a delegation for talks with the United States in Saudi Arabia on March 24, which will include Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

The Ukrainian team will travel to Saudi Arabia for negotiations with the United States.
An unnamed Ukrainian source told the publication that in addition to Umerov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa will also take part in the talks with the United States.
Sky News writes that the schedule has not yet been approved, but the Ukrainian delegation is expected to leave on Sunday, March 23, in the evening to begin negotiations on Monday morning, March 24.
Meeting in Saudi Arabia on March 24
To recap, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on March 24, US representatives would hold separate meetings with representatives of Russia and representatives of Ukraine in Saudi Arabia to continue coordinating steps to end the war.
The meeting will be held at the level of technical teams.
On March 15, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy ordered the formation of a delegation to cooperate with international partners to organize a negotiation process to achieve a just peace.
The delegation was headed by the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak. The delegation also included Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Defense Minister Umerov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa.
