Ukraine and Russia closer than ever to ceasefire - US State Department

US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said that Ukraine and Russia are now "a few steps away from a full ceasefire."
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by The Hill.
"We are just one step away from a complete ceasefire, and then we will be able to talk not just about peace for a week or six months, but about a lasting peace that people in Ukraine, Russia, and around the world can count on.
That's what America has helped to deliver, and that's what we continue to do every day. We have never been closer to peace with these two sides," Bruce said.
As a reminder, since the evening of March 20, Russians have attacked Ukraine with more than 200 attack drones. A massive strike was launched against Odesa. Civilian infrastructure and commercial facilities came under enemy fire, and three teenagers were wounded.
Also at night, the enemy attacked the Zaporizhzhia district with anti-aircraft guns. As a result of the attack, six people were injured, including a 4-year-old boy.
