German Bundestag approves additional €3 billion in military aid to Ukraine

On March 21, the German Bundestag supported constitutional amendments that would increase defense spending, including an additional €3 billion in military aid to Ukraine.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform.
The voting took place after the relevant decision of the Bundestag on March 18.
As noted, 35 out of the required 46 representatives (two-thirds) voted for the changes. Four states abstained.
The new expenditures will be financed by exempting them from the debt brake rule, which limits government borrowing.
Thus, Germany will be able to allocate an additional 3 billion euros for military aid to Ukraine this year.
