There are already confines of peace deal on war between Russia and Ukraine. Full ceasefire will be "very soon" – Trump

US President Donald Trump has said that there are already "confines of a peace deal" on Russia's war against Ukraine following his recent conversations with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He said this during a press conference at the White House, Censor.NET reports.
"I think we have reached certain agreements on a peace deal. After talking with Putin, with Zelenskyy. I do this for two reasons: thousands of people are dying every week. On both sides, Russia and Ukraine... The United States has spent, thanks to Biden, $350 billion on a war that should not have happened if the United States had a competent president," Trump said.
The American president added that "very soon there will be a full ceasefire in Ukraine."
"We're going to have a full ceasefire pretty soon, then we'll have a contract and agreements that are being negotiated, a land division contract, et cetera, et cetera, that's being negotiated right now as we speak," he said.
Asked whether the US plans to impose more sanctions on Russia because of its continued attacks on Ukraine's infrastructure, Trump said he was counting on a ceasefire agreement.
The day before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed to continue working together to achieve a real end to the war and establish a lasting peace.
