Fire broke out after debris from downed drone fell onto roof of building in Kyiv’s Podilskyi district

Late in the evening of March 21, debris from a downed enemy drone fell onto the roof of a residential building in Kyiv’s Podilskyi district, causing a fire.

This was reported by the head of the KCMA Tymur Tkachenko, Censor.NET reports.

"According to preliminary information, a fire broke out as a result of the wreckage of a downed enemy drone falling on the roof of a residential building in the Podilskyi district," the official wrote.

He noted that rescuers are on their way to the scene.

"I urge Kyiv residents to stay in shelters until the air raid alert is lifted," Tkachenko added.

Earlier it was reported that on the evening of Friday, March 21, Russian invaders launched strike drones to attack Ukraine. It was also reported that the Air Defense Forces worked on enemy drones in the Kyiv region.
