Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shelling of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile attack using one missile and 85 air strikes, dropping 134 drones on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements. In addition, it carried out 6407 attacks, including 199 from multiple launch rocket systems, and engaged about three thousand kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Petrushivka, Turia, Uhroids, Stepok, and Krasnopillia in the Sumy region; Pokrovsk, Zoria, Oleksandropil, Nova Poltavka, Hrodivka, Sukhyi Yar, Komar, Shevchenko, Novopil in the Donetsk region; Novodarivka, Huliaypole, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Tavriyske in the Zaporizhzhia region; Krupytsia, Chervonyi Mayak in the Kherson region.
Combat in the East
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of our defenders six times near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, six attacks took place yesterday. Our troops repelled the enemy's assault in the areas of Holubivka, Kruhliakivka, Zahryzove, and Pishchane.
The enemy attacked in the Lyman sector 22 times. They tried to break into our defense in the areas of Kopanky, Novomykhailivka, Nove, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka, Torske, and Ivanivka.
In the Siversk sector, the enemy made five attempts to advance in the areas of Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, and towards Ivano-Daryivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked four times in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Dachne, Druzhba, Diliivka, and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 37 aggressor's assault actions in the areas of Zelene Pole, Yelizavetivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, and Andriivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy made 11 attacks in the direction of Kostiantynopil, Dniproenerhia, and Rozlyv.
The situation in the South and North
In the Huliaipillia sector, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks near Novosilka and Pryvilne.
No combat engagements took place in the Orikhiv sector yesterday.
In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy tried unsuccessfully to attack the positions of our troops once.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
Ukrainian defense forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy carried out 18 air strikes, dropping 25 drones, and fired 276 times, nine of which were from multiple rocket launchers. Ukrainian defenders stopped 23 assault actions of the invaders, and one firefight is still ongoing.
Strikes against the enemy
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 26 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, an air defense facility, five artillery pieces, and an enemy control center.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1210 people over the last day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized 9 tanks, 20 armored combat vehicles, 96 artillery systems, three MLRS, 258 tactical UAVs, and 166 vehicles.
