The Ukrainian military launches a missile attack on a parking lot of Russian Mi-8 and Ka-52 helicopters in the Belgorod region.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Special Operations Forces.
"Special Operations Forces in cooperation with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Missile Forces and artillery destroyed two enemy Ka-52 helicopters and two Mi-8s in the Belgorod region of Russia," the statement said.
The Ka-52 is an attack helicopter that the enemy uses for reconnaissance and attacks on targets on the ground. Enemy forces use Mi-8 transport helicopters to transport personnel and cargo, as well as to support ground operations.
All the helicopters were destroyed by missile strikes in the enemy's rear, where the enemy created a jumping-off point for aircraft - a disguised position for rapid movement of aircraft or for surprise attacks on the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine.
"The enemy once again thought that it was unreachable in the deep rear. We have once again proved that there is nothing unattainable for the Ukrainian Special Forces," the military said.
