Poland has enough ammunition for 1-2 weeks of war, - Lukowski, head of National Security Bureau

How long will Poland be able to defend itself from attack

Poland will be able to defend itself against a potential enemy attack for 1-2 weeks. During this time, help from allies should arrive.

According to Censor.NET, citing RMF 24, the head of the Polish National Security Bureau, Dariusz Lukowski, said this.

According to him, it all depends on the situation that may arise during a clash with the enemy.

"I think, depending on how this fight will be conducted, this defense can be carried out within a week or two with the current level of reserves," Lukowski explained.

The head of the National Security Bureau said that the Polish army still has both old and new equipment. The lack of ammunition mainly concerns outdated equipment.

"All these munitions and platforms that we have introduced into the armed forces in recent years are also being supplied with munitions in parallel... In this case, the situation looks much better," he added.

Lukowski hopes that in 2-3 years Poland will restore its potential in such a way that it will be able to really resist possible aggression from Russia.
