Diesel tank damaged at occupied ZNPP

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has received reports of damage to a diesel tank at the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP (Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant).

This was announced by Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhii Tykhyi, Censor.NET reports.

"We have received reports of damage to a diesel tank at the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP. The spilled fuel would be enough to power the station's emergency generators for 25 days. The Russians not only stole the plant, but also failed to ensure its basic safety," he said.

The spokesman emphasized that this incident is a direct result of Russia's reckless replacement of certified Ukrainian experts with unqualified temporary Russian operatives.

"Allowing this situation to continue will only lead to new accidents and dangers. ZNPP must be returned under the control of Ukraine. This is the only way to prevent further incidents," the spokesman emphasized.
