Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. 224 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shelling of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using one missile and 77 air strikes, dropping 116 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 6743 attacks, including 159 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,646 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Turia, Krasnopillia, Uhroydy, Mykhailivske, Prokhody, Myropilske in the Sumy region; Novopil in the Donetsk region; Komyshuvakha, Temyrivka, Kamianske, Novoukrainka, Prymorske, Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhzhia region; Novooleksandrivka in the Kherson region.
Fighting in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy twice tried to break through the defensive lines of our defenders towards Vovchansk.
Four attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults near Holubivka and Zahryzove.
Combat in the East
The enemy attacked in the Lyman sector 14 times. He tried to break into our defense near Kopanky, Yampolivka, Novoserhiivka, towards Novyi, Kolodiazi, and Novomykhailivka.
In the Siversk sector, our troops successfully stopped 11 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Bilohorivka, Verkhnekamianske, and Ivano-Daryivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked four times in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Predtechyno, and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Dachne, Krymske, and in the direction of Diliivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 88 aggressor's attacks near the localities of Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, and towards the localities of Preobrazhenka, Pokrovsk, Promin, Vidrodzhennia, Novoserhiivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy carried out 25 attacks in the direction of Rozlyv and Vesele, as well as near Kostiantynopol and Skudne.
Situation in the South
In the Huliaipil sector, our defenders stopped 16 attacks in the areas of Rivne, Novosilka, Pryvilne, Vilne Pole, and Novopil.
In the Orikhiv sector, the occupation forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces nine times in the areas of Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkove, Shcherbaky, and in the direction of Stepove.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, our defenders successfully stopped two enemy attacks.
Situation in the North and Kursk region
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected at the Volyn and Polissia directions.
The Ukrainian defense forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy launched 19 air strikes, dropping 28 guided aerial bombs, and fired 492 times, nine of them from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped 25 invaders' assault operations.
Strikes against the enemy
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 15 areas of concentration of personnel, a radar station, and an enemy artillery unit.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1670 people over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized 8 tanks, 16 armored combat vehicles, 58 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, 108 operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, 169 vehicles, and a unit of special equipment of the occupiers.
