Attack on airfield in Engels: enemy lost 96 air-launched cruise missiles, - General Staff

According to updated information, as a result of a strike by the Ukrainian Defence Forces on the Russian Aerospace Forces' "Engels-2" airfield on 20 March 2025, the enemy lost 96 air-launched cruise missiles. In particular, as a result of secondary detonation.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the press centre of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
These munitions were designed to launch three missile strikes during March-April this year.
In addition, strikes on aviation fuel storage sites led to the destruction of significant stocks, which negatively affects the Russian aggressor's ability to support combat operations.
As a reminder, on the night of 20 March, the Ukrainian Defence Forces attacked "Engels-2" airfield, which caused a fire and explosions of stored ammunition.
Censor.NET's sources said that Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3 and Tu-160 bombers are deployed at the airfield, as well as warehouses with FABs, GABs and cruise missiles.
According to British intelligence, the Defence Forces' strike on "Engels" was the most successful in 2025.
