Russian troops massively shelled the central part of Kherson, causing casualties.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

"The centre of Kherson now. The enemy is massively covering the city with fire," the statement said.

It is noted that one person is currently known to be wounded - an ambulance took him to hospital. According to preliminary reports, another person died.

"Stay in safe places! Do not go out unnecessarily!" the head of the RMA added.

Later, he wrote that the Russians had ended the life of a 55-year-old woman.

According to Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson CMA, the power supply in Kherson was partially cut off as a result of massive shelling by Russian occupation forces. As a result, trolleybuses have been temporarily suspended in the city.

Experts are currently investigating the location and extent of the damage.

Prokudin said that another person was killed.

"A man who was at the bus stop was fatally wounded. My condolences to the family of the victim," he wrote.

In addition, an ambulance crew that was helping the wounded man came under Russian fire.
