General Staff: 159 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk, Lyman and Kupiansk directions
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., the total number of combat engagements along the entire front line is 159.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
The invaders do not stop attacking the settlements of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The settlements of Bleshnia, Ulanove, Bila Bereza, Khodyne, Malushyne, Nova Sloboda, Oleksandrivka, Porozok, Striletska Pushkarka, Dmytrivka were subjected to artillery strikes, and the areas of Myropilske, Prokhody, Uhroidy, Krasnopillia, and Khmelivka came under enemy air strikes.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, there were four assault actions of the invaders towards Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops 25 times in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove and in the directions of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Nova Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka, and 19 combat engagements are ongoing.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the aggressor attacked 27 times in the areas of Nadiia, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Yampolivka and in the directions of Novoserhiivka, Nove, Olhivka, Dronivka and Hryhorivka. Currently, 10 combat engagements continue.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy conducted three offensives near the localities of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne, and two more attacks are ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops 21 times in the areas of Krymske, Ozarianivka, Kurdiumivka, Toretsk and in the directions of Dyliivka, Leonidivka, Shcherbynivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 41 times in the areas of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka and in the directions of Malynivka and Novooleksandrivka, eight of the attacks are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Skudne, Dniproenerhiia and Burlatske.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy conducted 8 assault operations in the areas of Pryvilne, Novosilka and towards Vilne Pole. Shevchenko, Novodarivka, Novopil and Huliaipole were attacked by air.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped four enemy attacks. The enemy tried to advance towards Shcherbaky, Lobkove and Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy did not conduct any active offensive actions.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Operation in the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation
Today, 8 combat engagements took place in the Kursk sector, one of them is still ongoing. In addition, the enemy conducted 12 air strikes, dropped 14 GABs (guided aerial bombs) and fired 237 artillery rounds, including nine from multiple launch rocket systems.
