Freezing war is worst-case scenario - NATO Military Committee Chairman Dragone

Now we should focus on achieving a lasting and genuine peace, not on freezing the conflict.
This was stated by the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, ensuring a long-term ceasefire is a difficult task that depends on many factors.
"Of course, we all want a complete cessation of hostilities throughout Ukraine and a just and lasting peace. But, as I said, a bad peace can be worse than no peace. A frozen conflict is the worst case scenario. So now we should focus on achieving a real, lasting peace," Dragone explained.
