Starmer and Rutte discuss support for Ukraine

Rutte had a conversation with Starmer. They talked about Ukraine

The prime minister met NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Paris this morning, ahead of the coalition of the willing meeting.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Sky News.

"They discussed their enduring support for Ukraine, agreeing that Europe must do everything possible to keep them in the fight and keep up the pressure on Putin," Downing Street said.

A British government spokesman said that Starmer and Rutte recognized the "vital" role of the United States in "forging a path" for a ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine.

The two sides also reaffirmed that Europe is ready to support a lasting and durable peace when it comes.
