Over 200 combat engagements took place in frontline over last day. Most of them took place in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, Kupiansk and Toretsk sectors, - General Staff
Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Over the past day, 209 firefights were recorded.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shellings of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 98 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 157 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 6,430 shellings, including 222 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,911 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Myropilske, Prokhody, Uhroidy, Krasnopillia, Khmelivka, Mykhailivske in Sumy region; Yablunivka, Zoria, Novoolenivka, Hrodivka, Pokrovsk, Chunyshyne, Novoserhiivka, Novomykolaivka, Oleksiivka in Donetsk region; Shevchenko, Novodarivka, Novopil, Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia region.
Hostilities in Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried six times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders towards Vovchansk and Fiholivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, 26 invaders' attacks took place yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy's assault in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove and in the directions of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Nova Kruhliakivka and Bohuslavka.
Hostilities in the east
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 32 times. They tried to penetrate our defences in the areas of Nadiia, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Yampolivka and towards Novoserhiivka, Nove, Olhivka, Dronivka and Hryhorivka.
In the Siverskyi sector, our troops successfully stopped three enemy attacks near Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers attacked four times near Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 24 attacks in the areas of Krymske, Ozarianivka, Kurdiumivka, Toretsk and in the directions of Dyliivka, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 68 aggressor's assaults in the areas of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka and towards Malynivka and Novooleksandrivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Skudne, Dniproenerhia and Burlatske yesterday.
Situation in the south
In the Huliaipillia sector, our defenders stopped nine attacks in the vicinity of Pryvilne, Novosilka and towards Vilne Pole.
In the Orikhivskyi sector, the occupation forces stormed the positions of the Defence Forces four times towards the settlements of Shcherbaky, Lobkove and Kamianske.
No combat engagements were registered in the Prydniprovskyi sector yesterday.
Situation in the North and Kursk Region
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
Ukrainian defence forces are continuing operations in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy carried out 22 air strikes, dropping 25 guided aerial bombs, and fired 382 times, 26 of them from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped 18 assault actions of the invaders.
Strikes on the enemy
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces hit 27 areas of personnel concentration, eight artillery systems, four air defence systems and two enemy UAV control points.
In total, the Russian invaders' casualties over the last day amounted to 1,860 people. Ukrainian troops also neutralised 17 tanks, 61 armoured combat vehicles, 122 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, an air defence system, 144 operational and tactical UAVs and 210 occupiers' vehicles.
