Russia says talks in Saudi Arabia were not very productive, but "it would be naive to expect breakthroughs"

Russia’s demands in negotiations

Chairman of the Federation Council's Committee on International Affairs and head of the Russian delegation to the talks with the United States in Saudi Arabia Grigory Karasin said that the talks were "not very productive", so it is "naive" to expect breakthroughs.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Russian media.

Karasin noted that at the meeting with the United States, they discussed Russia's access to ports for the export of agricultural products and the connection of Rosselkhozbank to Swift.

"This set of issues was raised, and the Americans took it calmly," he said.

Karasin added that there are no plans for further expert meetings between Russia and the US.

To recap, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva said that the Russian delegation refused to discuss the issue of ending attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure during talks with the US in Riyadh.
