Russian Federation damaged power facilities in Kherson and Poltava region, we are waiting for partners’ reaction, - Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has once again denied Russian claims of Ukraine's alleged destruction of energy facilities in Russia and the occupied territories.
This is stated in a statement, Censor.NET reports.
"We would like to emphasise that the Ukrainian Defence Forces strictly adhere to the agreements reached with our partners to stop attacks on energy facilities. Fire is carried out exclusively against military targets of the Russian occupation army.
At the same time, specific violations of these agreements by the Russian army have been recorded, including Russian strikes that damaged energy facilities in Kherson and Poltava region over the past day alone. We expect our partners to respond accordingly.
The daily fake news and disinformation spread by Russia's military department is aimed at discrediting Ukraine and the diplomatic efforts of Ukraine and its partners. Russia's tactics of dragging out the war remain unchanged," they said.
Earlier, the Russian dictator's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia may not adhere to the "energy truce".
