General Staff: 116 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., the total number of combat engagements along the entire front line is 116.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
The enemy does not stop attacking the settlements of Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The settlements of Oleksandrivka, Myropilske, Klynova Novoselivka, Pokrovka, Porozok, Bila Bereza, Shalyhyne, Malushyne, Petrushivka, Novovasylivka came under artillery fire, and the areas of Uhroidy, Myropilske, Krasnopillia, Petrushivka and Prokhody were subjected to enemy air strikes.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, one firefight took place in the area of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops three times near Zahryzove and towards Bohuslavka, and one combat engagement is ongoing.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the aggressor attacked nine times today in the vicinity of Nadiia, Yampolivka and in the direction of Hrekivka, Nove and Novomykhailivka. Six combat engagements are currently ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy conducted one offensive near the locality of Ivano-Darivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attempts to advance in the area of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops' positions 17 times in the area of Toretsk and in the direction of Dyliivka and Shcherbynivka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 50 times today in the areas of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka and in the direction of Kalynove, 12 attacks are ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, our troops repelled 12 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, and Dniproenerhiia, four combat engagements are ongoing.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy conducted four assault operations in the vicinity of Pryvilne. Novopil suffered an air strike.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Defense Forces stopped five enemy attacks. The enemy tried to advance towards Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky and north of Nesterianka. Kamianske and Novoandriivka came under air strikes.
Two combat engagements with the enemy took place in the Prydniprovske direction.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Operation in the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation
Nine combat engagements took place in the Kursk sector today, three of them are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy conducted 20 air strikes, dropped 32 GABs and fired 199 artillery rounds, including 11 from multiple launch rocket systems.
