Trump is angry with Putin and ready to impose tariffs on Russian oil

Trump is angry with Putin

American leader Donald Trump is angry with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and is ready to impose additional duties on Russian oil.

This is reported by NBC News, Censor.NET informs.

It is noted that Trump's anger is related to the war in Ukraine and a number of Putin's statements. In particular, Trump said he was "very angry" and "furious" that Russian dictator Putin had questioned the legitimacy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to the US president, these comments were "out of line."

"If Russia and I cannot reach a deal to end the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it's Russia's fault - and it may not be - but if I think it's Russia's fault, I will impose a secondary tariff on oil, on all oil that comes from Russia," the American leader said.

Trump said that the new tariffs will mean that companies that buy Russian oil will not be able to do business in the United States.

"There will be a 25% tariff on all oil, 25 to 50 points," Trump added.

The White House chief added that Putin is aware of his anger, but they have a "good relationship" and "anger dissipates quickly if he does the right thing."

Trump also added that he intends to speak with the Kremlin leader this week.
