Another company-level strongpoint built by the Ministry of Defence has sparked outrage among military personnel. The facility, constructed at the cost of tens of millions of hryvnias, has critical flaws that render it unfit for use in modern warfare.

The structure rises above the surrounding terrain, making it an easy target for all types of enemy weapons, including kamikaze drones. The lack of camouflage and overhead cover only worsens the situation — units cannot occupy the position without taking excessive risks.

The defenders hope that these mistakes will be corrected, and that future fortifications will be designed with the realities of the front in mind. After all, taxpayers’ money should go toward strengthening the country’s defences — not on building unusable fortifications, Censor.NET reports.
