Over the last day, 216 combat engagements were registered, one third of them in the Pokrovsk sector. The enemy also increased the number of assaults in the Lyman and Toretsk directions.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shellings of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile and 99 air strikes at the positions of Ukrainian units and localities, involved three missiles and dropped 169 GABs. In addition, it carried out more than 5,200 shellings, including 124 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,223 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Petrushivka, Stepok, Velykyi Prykil, Mykhailivske, Prokhody, Naumivka, Krasnopillia, Obiednane, Uhroidy, Hnylytsia, Velyka Pysarivka, Turia in Sumy region; Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv region; Pokrovsk, Udachne, Zoria, Raipole, Zaporizhzhia, Bahatyr, Odradne, Vesele, Zelene Pole, Stara Mykolaivka, Oleksandropil, Nova Poltavka and Novoukrainka in Donetsk Oblast; Novopidhorodne, Velykomykhailivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Temyrivka, Malokaterynivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Kherson in Kherson Oblast.
Hostilities in Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv sector, our troops stopped seven enemy attacks in the area of Vovchansk
Nine occupiers' attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector yesterday. Ukrainian defence forces repelled the enemy's assault actions towards Pishchane, Nova Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka and near Zahryzove and Stepova Novoselivka.
Hostilities in the east
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 26 times. They tried to advance near Nadiia, Dibrova, Kolodiazi, in the directions of Nove, Serebrianka, Torske, Zelena Dolyna and Novomykhailivka.
In the Siverskyi sector, the enemy attacked our defenders' positions three times near Ivano-Darivka and Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, seven combat engagements were recorded in the area of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 19 attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 79 aggressor attacks in the areas of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kalynove, Udachne, Zelene, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Serhiivka, Novoserhiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Uspenivka, Sribne, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, Oleksiivka and in the directions of Troitske and Horikhove.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 12 attacks on our troops' positions near Kostiantynopil, Burlatske, Dniproenerhia and in the direction of Rozlyv.
Situation in the south
In the Huliaipillia sector, the invaders carried out ten attacks near Novosilka, Pryvilne and in the direction of Vilne Pole and Novopillia.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders nine times near the settlements of Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkove, Shcherbaky, Kamianske and Novodanylivka.
The aggressor conducted one offensive in the Prydniprovskyi sector, which was unsuccessful.
Fighting in the Kursk region and the situation in the north
In the operational area in Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defence Forces stopped 27 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched 37 air strikes using 36 guided bombs, and carried out 266 artillery attacks on our troops' positions and settlements, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were observed in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
Strikes on the enemy
Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and are actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1,540 casualties over the last day. Ukrainian troops also neutralised 9 tanks, 37 armoured combat vehicles, 15 artillery systems, 46 operational and tactical UAVs, 2 missiles and 53 occupiers' vehicles.
