I believe that Ukraine will join EU immediately after end of war - Shmyhal

Ukraine wants to make progress in accession talks with the EU this year.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
According to Shmyhal, Ukraine and the EU have completed bilateral screening in three negotiation clusters: "Fundamentals", "Internal Market" and "External Relations". Ukraine expects these negotiation clusters to be opened in the first half of 2025.
"In 2025, our goal is to open all six accession negotiation clusters simultaneously. We are actively working to achieve this goal. I am convinced that there are no real obstacles to achieving this goal - only political will and a general commitment to hard work are needed," the Prime Minister emphasized.
He reminded that Ukraine has proven that it can move "with unprecedented speed" and achieve results not in years, but in months.
"I firmly believe that Ukraine will become a member of the EU immediately after the end of the full-scale war," Shmyhal said.
