Germany to co-chair "Ramstein" with UK for first time
For the first time, Germany will co-organize a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format, together with the United Kingdom.
This was reported by the Alliance’s press service, according to Censor.NET.
"On April 11, the United Kingdom and Germany will convene a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group," the statement said.
A day earlier, Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that the UK would lead the upcoming Ramstein-format meeting.
This will be only the second time a meeting of the Contact Group is not chaired by the United States.
