On 3 April, the Ukrainian Defence Forces engaged in 156 combat engagements with Russian occupation forces. The day before, there were 216 clashes.

Russian strikes at Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile and 104 air strikes, using one missile and 193 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out more than 5,600 shellings, including 146 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,203 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Stepok, Myropilske, Pokrovka, Petrushivka, Velyka Pysarivka, Turia, Prokhody, Krasnopillia, Riasne, Velykyi Prykil, Mykhailivske in Sumy region; Mykolaivka in Chernihiv region; Pokrovsk, Novopil, Voskresenka in Donetsk region; and Sichneve, Velykomykhailivka, Malynivka, Komyshuvakha in Zaporizhzhia region.
Defeat of the enemy
Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck nine areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, two UAV control points, two cannons and an enemy command and observation post.
Kharkiv region
Four assaults took place in the Kharkiv sector yesterday, in the direction of Kamianka and in the area of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, five occupiers' attacks took place over the last day. Ukrainian defence forces repelled the enemy's assaults in the vicinity of Zahryzove, Petropavlivka and in the direction of Nova Kruhliakivka.
Situation in the east
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 19 times, trying to advance near Hrekivka, Nove, Katerynivka and towards Novomykhailivka, Torske and Zelena Dolyna.
In the Siverskyi sector, the enemy attacked in the areas of Verkhniokamianske and towards Ivano-Darivka and Vyimka. A total of four firefights took place yesterday.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled one enemy assault in the direction of Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 29 attacks in the areas of Krymske, Dachne, Druzhba, Dyliivka, Toretsk and Leonidivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 57 aggressor's attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Sribne, Novoserhiivka, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Andriivka and towards Romanivka, Oleksiivka, Vodiane Druhe, Kotliarivka and Oleksandropil.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled nine enemy assaults in the direction of Rozlyv and Kostiantynopil.
South
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Huliaipillia sector.
In the Orikhivsk sector, near the settlements of Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske, the invaders made eight futile attacks on the positions of our defenders.
Yesterday, in the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy tried twice to advance to the fortifications of our defenders without success.
Battles in the Kursk region
There were 13 firefights in the Kursk sector yesterday. The enemy fired 359 artillery shells, including four from multiple launch rocket systems; carried out 16 air strikes, dropping 28 guided aerial bombs.
North
No signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissia sectors were observed.
