Macron urges Russia to accept Trump’s ceasefire proposal - Le Figaro

French President Emmanuel Macron has called on Russia to stop its stalling tactics and agree to an unconditional ceasefire proposed by US President Donald Trump.
This is reported by Le Figaro, Censor.NET informs.
"For almost a month now, Russia has not only refused to accept this, but has also intensified its bombing of civilians again with tragic casualties, as it did a few days ago," Macron said.
He added that Europe supports Trump's initiative, because the goal is to achieve a stable and lasting peace that guarantees security for both Ukraine and the whole of Europe.
"That's why it's crucial now that Russia stops pretending and delaying tactics and accepts the unconditional ceasefire that was President Trump's proposal, the proposal agreed by President Zelenskyy in Jeddah on March 11," the French president explained.
