120 combat engagements took place in frontline, half of them in Pokrovsk and Lyman directions – General Staff
Since the beginning of this day, as of 10:00 p.m., 120 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian invaders carried out 57 air strikes, using 90 GABs (guided aerial bombs). In addition, the Russians used 1022 kamikaze drones and fired 4283 times at the positions of our troops and settlements.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted three assaults on the positions of our defenders in the areas of Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove. Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions 19 times near Nadiia, Yampolivka and towards Novoplatonivka, Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Ridkodub, Olhivka, Zelena Dolyna and Nove. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy made three attempts to attack the positions of our troops in the vicinity of Hryhorivka, one attack is still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat engagements were registered near Kurdiumivka and Chasiv Yar. Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the defense forces 14 times. The occupiers concentrated their main offensive efforts near Dachne, Shcherbynivka, Ozarianivka and Toretsk.
Since the beginning of this day, in the Pokrovsk direction, the invading units have tried to break through our defenses 42 times near the settlements of Kalynove, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, Kotlyne, as well as in the directions of Kotliarivka and Serhiivka. Today, Ukrainian troops neutralized 196 invaders in this direction, 99 of them were killed. Moreover, two vehicles, one UAV control antenna, two motorcycles, two satellite terminals, a cannon and one UAV control point were destroyed, and three enemy vehicles were severely damaged.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked eight times in the direction of Bohatyr and near Kostiantynopil and Skudne. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the invader is currently conducting two attacks in the direction of Shevchenko.
Today, Ukrainian troops repelled five assault attacks in the Orikhiv direction near Mali Shcherbaki, Stepove and Shcherbaki. One firefight is still ongoing.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Prydniprovske direction.
Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 17 Russian attacks, two clashes are still ongoing. The enemy has launched three air strikes since the beginning of the day, dropping a total of three guided aerial bombs on our troops' positions and settlements and firing 191 artillery rounds, including one from a multiple launch rocket system.
In other areas, the situation did not change significantly.
