Over the last day, 159 combat engagements were recorded. Most of them were in the Pokrovsk sector.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shellings of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using one missile, as well as 74 air strikes, including 120 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out more than five thousand eight hundred attacks, including 134 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,782 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Turia, Uhroidy, Miropilske, Prokhody, Krasnopillia, Petrushivka in Sumy region; Voskresenka, Zelene Pole, Novopil in Donetsk region; Malynivka, Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia region.
Hostilities in the east
Four occupiers' attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector yesterday. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults towards Pishchane, near Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 21 times. They tried to advance near Nadiia, Yampolivka, Torske and towards Novoplatonivka, Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Ridkodub, Olhivka, Zelena Dolyna and Nove.
In the Siverskyi sector, the enemy made three attacks on the positions of our units in the vicinity of Hryhorivka during the day, but the attacks were repelled.
In the Kramatorsk sector, three firefights were registered in the areas of Kurdiumivka and Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 23 attacks near Dachne, Shcherbynivka, Ozarianivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 52 aggressor attacks in the areas of Kalynove, Lysivka, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, Kotlyne, as well as in the directions of Kotliarivka, Malynivka and Serhiivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 12 attacks on the positions of our troops in the vicinity of Bahatyr and near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv and Skudne.
Fighting in the south and Kursk region
In the Huliaipillia sector, the enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to advance towards Shevchenko settlement yesterday.
In the Orikhivsk sector, our defenders successfully repelled eight enemy attacks in the vicinity of Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove and Shcherbaky.
In the operational zone in Kursk region, Ukrainian Defence Forces units repelled 21 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched five air strikes using nine guided bombs, and carried out 278 artillery shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including one from multiple launch rocket systems.
Strikes on the enemy
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces struck 17 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, one control point and a radar station of the "Buk" anti-aircraft missile system of the Russian invaders.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1290 casualties over the last day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralised five tanks, 14 armoured combat vehicles, 43 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence systems, 43 operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, 107 vehicles and two units of occupiers' special equipment.
