Family of "servant of people" Fris, who promotes restrictions on registers, owns hotels and land in Carpathians - media. VIDEO
"Servant of the People" MP Ihor Fris is one of the initiators of draft law No. 11533 on restricting access to real estate registers. At the same time, his family owns hotels, restaurants and land in the Carpathians.
This is stated in the material of Bihus.Info, Censor.NET reports.
"Do you remember the draft law that was supposed to 'cover' access to registers - real estate, land, business? Formally, it was for security reasons and because of 'risks to defence'. Two weeks ago, the Rada failed to vote on this draft law. MPs promised to revise the text of the document and return for a new vote. In the meantime, we decided to see who wanted to push it through so badly," the journalists said.
The investigation reports that the registers that Fris, "Servant of the People", wants to close contain information about his family's property.
Fris was once a well-known Frankivsk notary and hotelier, as well as a friend of the founder of Bukovel, Oleksandr Shevchenko.
Journalists found out that the MP's eldest daughter Regina is the general manager of a number of restaurants and hotels in Bukovel. His younger daughter Elina owns an LLC with three land plots registered to it.
Fris' mother has more than 20 properties registered in her name, almost half of which are apartments in one of the hotels.
The MP also talks a lot on his social media about a winery that is not listed in the registers. Formally, it belongs to his friend, Oleksandr Zasidko.
