DPRK military fought against us in Kursk region, while Chinese fought against us in Ukraine - Zelenskyy
China is another country, after Iran and North Korea, that militarily supports Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
This is stated in the statement of the head of state, published on the website of the Presidential Administration, Censor.NET reports.
"We have captured Chinese soldiers on the territory of Ukraine. Ukrainians in the Donetsk region - Tarasivka and Bilohorivka - engaged in a battle with six Chinese soldiers. Two of them are in captivity. Accordingly, we have documents, we have their passports, we even have credit cards. These are Chinese citizens," the president said.
Zelenskiy said that China is another country that militarily supports Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
"This is another one after Iran and the North Korean military. But there is a difference: the North Koreans fought against us on the Kursk direction, the Chinese are fighting on the territory of Ukraine. I think this is an important point that we need to discuss with our partners," the head of state added.
The captured Chinese citizens are now in the custody of the Security Service of Ukraine. Relevant investigative and operational actions are underway.

As reported earlier, Ukrainian defenders captured two Chinese citizens in the Donetsk region. They fought in the Russian army.
