Over the past day, April 8, 2025, in the Kharkiv sector, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked the positions of our troops in Vovchansk.

As noted, in the Kupyansk sector, enemy infantry attacks were successfully repelled near Petropavlivka and Zahryzove. The aggressor keeps trying to set up crossings to move to the western bank of the Oskil River. Defense forces are taking measures to prevent the enemy's advance.
"In the Liman sector, the occupation army attacked near the settlements of Nadia, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Zelena Dolyna, and Kolodyazi. The enemy's assault was repelled. The enemy does not abandon its intentions to arrange a crossing of the Chornyi Zherebets River. To carry out these measures, the enemy used a tank bridge builder, but due to the fire of our defenders, the crossing was not set up.
The enemy also tried unsuccessfully to improve the tactical situation in Serebryany forestry," the statement said.
It is also noted that in the Siverskyi sector, the units of the Defense Forces prevented the deterioration of the tactical situation near Serebrianka and Vasyukivka. The enemy suffered losses in personnel and retreated.
According to the OSGT "Khortytsia", in the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, the enemy conducted assault actions of varying intensity in the directions of Predtechyno, Bila Hora, Diliyivka, Chasiv Yar, Petrivka, Leonidivka, and Toretsk. Our defenders did not lose any positions, and the enemy received a decent rebuff.
"In the Pokrovsk sector, the aggressor army continued to attack in the areas of Yelizavetivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlynove, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyarivka, Shevchenko, Uspenivka, Oleksiyivka, Andriivka, and Novoserhiivka. The defenders repelled the enemy's assault," the Khortytsia military unit emphasizes.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our defenders near Kostiantynopil, Bahatyry, Vesele, and Burlatske. Defense forces continue to hold back the attack, destroying the enemy's superior forces.
