China raises tariffs on US goods to 84%

China has responded to the new tariffs imposed by Trump by announcing an increase in duties on US goods to 84%.
This is reported by Bloomberg, Censor.NET reports.
The Chinese government noted that such measures will come into force on April 10. As a result, tariffs on imported goods from the United States will increase from 34% to 84%.
This step was taken by Beijing a few hours after Trump's massive tariffs, which reached 104%, came into effect.
China has also announced that it will file a lawsuit against the United States with the World Trade Organization.
China has added 12 US firms to its export control list.
Beijing called Trump's decision to increase tariffs this week "mistake after mistake," while leaving the door open for dialogue with the United States.
US duties against China
It is worth noting that this is not the first wave of duties imposed by the US on China. First, the US imposed 20% duties on Beijing, then added another 34%.
After that, China imposed duties on American goods, and the day before Trump threatened additional tariffs of 50%, and he kept his promise.
Earlier, Trump also called China's decision to impose mirror 34 percent tariffs on all imports from the United States on April 10 a mistake.
