Pokrovsk is now key target for Russian Army – Palisa

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palisa believes that in late April and throughout May, the Russian armed forces will intensify offensive operations.
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to ZN.ua.
In an interview with Reuters, Palisa noted that the main attack is likely to be directed at the Pokrovsk direction. In addition, the enemy may unleash intense fighting near Kupiansk and Lyman in the east, as well as in the southeast - in the areas of Zaporizhzhia and Novopavlivka.
"In my opinion, Pokrovsk is the key target for the Russian army now," emphasized the deputy head of the OP.
He noted that Ukraine is not currently raising the issue of new military assistance from the United States, but such an initiative may appear in the context of potential ceasefire negotiations.
According to Palisa, Ukraine is now actively investing in the development of its own air defense system. Several countries have already agreed to provide the necessary technical materials and permits to launch the production of certain types of equipment. "The process is going quite briskly," the OP representative said.
