An unidentified device exploded in the yard of a private house in Liubashivka district of the Odesa region on Sunday, Oct. 11. A 43-year-old woman received minor injuries as a result.
Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine Directorate in the Odesa region.
As noted, the local police precinct received a report Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. that an unidentified device exploded in the courtyard of the house owned by a 47-year-old resident of the village of Yanyshivka in Liubashivka district.
"At the scene, the investigative team established that the owner of the house had sat in his car and started moving. The bomb exploded in front of the car. A grenade pin and metal fragments of the explosive device have been found on the scene," the statement reads.
The 43-year-old wife of the owner of the house received minor injuries in the explosion. The woman refused from medical assistance.
The explosion also damaged two cars.
The criminal proceedings have been initiated into a criminal offense committed under Part 2 of the Article 15 (attempt to commit a crime), Part 1 of the Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
