Lukash is at large, all necessary procedures followed, - lawyer
The defense of former Justice Minister Olena Lukash declared her release from remand prison.
Ex-minister's lawyer Yurii Ivashchenko told Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET reports.
"She has already been released. All the necessary procedures were followed," he said.
According to him, Lucash left the building of the Prosecutor General's Office at around 7:00 p.m. She has handed over her ID and travel passport to the investigator. The lawyer also said that a bracelet was put on Olena Lukash.
Earlier, the court imposed pretrial detention against Lukash with the right to bail 5.1 million hryvnia (over $200,000) Nov. 6 in the evening. That same evening, Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Opposition bloc Vadym Novinskyi stood bail for her, but Lukash has not been released until Nov 9. She was taken to the Prosecutor General's Office to carry out actions to ensure a pretrial restriction Monday morning.
