Parliament dismissed 227 judges

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a decree "On judges dismissal."

Ukraine's parliament has discharged 227 of more than 8,000 Ukrainian judges, Censor.NET reports citing the parliamentary website.

The dismissals base on: a guilty verdict becoming final (four judges), reaching of age of 65 (seven judges), impossibility to exercise powers (two judges), notices of resignation filed (195 judges), oath breaking (two judges), voluntary discharge (17 judges).
