One of al-Nusra Front leaders detained in Kyiv
One of the internationally wanted leaders of al-Nusra Front terrorist organization has been detained in Kyiv by security officers.
Censor.NET reports citing SBU press service.
"A citizen of one of the former Soviet republics participated in the Syrian military conflict in 2013 - 2014. In 2015, he led a separate jamaat within al-Nusra Front terrorist group," the report notes.
The Shevchenko district court of Kyiv has ruled to extradite the foreigner.
The extradition proceedings are underway.
