In Kherson, Russians dropped explosives from drone onto car: woman killed, driver and another passenger injured (updated)

In Kherson, Russian troops dropped an explosive device from a drone onto a civilian vehicle. Two female passengers were killed in the attack, and the driver was hospitalized with injuries.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, according to Censor.NET.
Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime resulting in loss of life (Article 438(2) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
- According to the investigation, on April 1, 2026, at approximately 11:20 a.m., Russian military personnel dropped an explosive device from a drone onto a vehicle in Kherson.
- Two female passengers were killed in the attack. The driver was injured and taken to the hospital.
Prosecutors, in cooperation with police investigators, are taking all necessary measures to document war crimes committed by Russian military personnel.
UPDATED
According to updated information, one of the women, who was previously believed to have died, has been hospitalized. Her condition is described as extremely critical. Doctors are providing intensive care and fighting to save her life.
