General Staff simplifies mechanism for transferring servicemen between units
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has announced the introduction of a simplified mechanism for transferring servicemen between military units.
Censor.NET reports this with reference to a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Details of the decision
"Yes, a simplified mechanism has recently been introduced for sending, via electronic document management systems, a recommendation letter for a serviceman from the military unit to which he wishes to transfer to the military unit where he is currently serving," the statement says.
It is noted that the mechanism ensures the recommendation letter will be reviewed by the unit commander as soon as possible.
From now on, servicemen no longer need to submit the recommendation letter to lower-level commanders (section, platoon, company, battalion). This, in turn, will reduce subjective factors in decision-making and the number of approvals required from heads of structural subdivisions.
