Trump commented on U.S. involvement in Ukraine: We shouldn’t get involved

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States should not have intervened in the situation in Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, Trump made this remark during a conversation with journalists.
"We're spending billions. You know, we shouldn't have gotten involved in Ukraine. Ukraine is thousands of miles away, across the ocean. We helped them. We had a president who was just a fool: he gave them $350 billion and got nothing in return; he gave them that much money and wasted that much ammunition.
We’re now manufacturing ammunition all over the country because we need it, because he gave so much to Ukraine and got nothing in return. And I’m selling them ammunition. The European Union is paying for it," Trump said.

Trump threatened to halt arms supplies to Ukraine through the PURL program in order to force European allies to join a "coalition of the willing" aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
