Lithuania will not participate in any coalition with Russia, - Grybauskaite
Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite said that Lithuania will not participate in a joint anti-ISIS coalition with Russia as long as Moscow carries out aggressive actions in Ukraine and Georgia.
Censor.NET reports citing Delfi."Lithuania will not participate in any new coalition where Russia is or will be participating," Grybauskaite told reporters after a meeting with the presidents of Latvia and Estonia.
The Lithuanian president said that Russia "is still occupying the territory of other countries and carrying out direct military actions in another country, even in two countries - Georgia and Ukraine."
French President Francois Hollande intends to meet with the presidents of the U.S. and Russia next week to discuss fighting against the Islamic State. The calls to unite forces came in the wake of the attacks in Paris, which killed 129 people.
