"Donetsk people's republic" militants announce halt of coal supplies to Ukraine

The self-proclaimed "Donetsk people's republic" announce complete stop in coal supplies to Kyiv-controlled territory of Ukraine.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Gazeta.ru, this was announced by the so-called "transport minister of the 'DPR'" Semen Kuzmenko.

"Coal supplies to Ukraine have been halted. Today, starting from 5 p.m., all supplies that have not been halted before will be halted, because only thermal coal supplies have been halted previously. As far as I understand, the talks deadlocked, the situation will deteriorate," he said without naming a cause.

The militant noted that "this is more about economy, not policy."
