36,000 militants stay in occupied Donbas, - Defense Ministry
The Ministry of Defense says 36,000 militants are still staying in the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
This is stated in 2015 annual report by the ministry, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.
As reported, some 36,000 militants stay in the self-styled "Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics," forming two army corps.
They have 863 armored vehicles and 484 tanks in service.
Also, the so-called "DPR" and "LPR" have 746 artillery units and 410 air defense missile systems.
