Russia threatens Ukraine with visa regime
Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko has announced the possibility of introducing a visa regime with Ukraine.
As reported by Censor.NET citing RIA Novosti, she said this at a press conference on Thursday."Speaking of the introduction of a visa regime, let's watch the actions of Ukraine and whether they'll understand what has been done and, finally, whether they'll attend to country's national interests, the interests of their citizens, rather than the interests of the IMF and the execution of overseas orders," Matviyenko said.
According to the senator, should there be "a need of some kind of reaction from our side," Moscow may take measures, including the introduction of a visa regime.
As stated by Matviyenko, the problem lies in the "destructive, absolutely harmful to Ukraine's relations with Russia" line of the Kyiv authorities.
