"Russia thought it would bring us to knees, offered gas for 212 [U.S. dollars per tcm - ed.]. I instructed the minister to call Russia and say we won't buy their gas," the president said, speaking with residents of Volodymyrets in the Rivne region on Friday.
According to him, Ukraine is currently buying gas from Europe, which is cheaper than that of Russia.
