Situation near Marinka remains tense, - ATO press center

The pro-Russian militants committed 20 assaults on the ATO forces’ positions today.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the ATO press center.

The statement reads: "The enemy was shelling our strong points near Novhorodske, Bohdanivka, and Pisky with grenade launchers of various systems today.

"The Ukrainian army positions in Opytne, Luhanske, and Zaitseve were fired at by the militants with high-caliber machine guns and small arms.

"It was hot not far from Chermalyk and Starohnativka villages at the Mariupol direction, where the terrorists attacked our fortified positions with grenade launchers and weapons mounted on infantry fighting vehicles respectively.

"The situation was also tense near Marinka. The enemy provided accurate fire at the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strong points situated not far from this village six times today. The invaders employed grenade launchers and IFV guns there.

"The Marinka checkpoint was attacked by the enemy sniper."
