Confrontation will not take place, Abromavicius left Ukraine, - MP Kononenko
No cross interrogation (confrontation) of Poroshenko Bloc MP Ihor Kononenko and former Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius will take place tomorrow.
Censor.NET reports quoting Kononenko's Facebook page."Two weeks have passed, I filed a petition to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) asking to arrange a confrontation between me and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius. It could supposedly take place tomorrow but, according to my information, it won't as Mr Abromavicius has left Ukraine," Kononenko wrote.
The MP recalls that during his last interrogation at the NABU, he offered the investigator to have him undergo a polygraph testing.
"I really regret that the investigation is slowed down. I say it once again I want the truth to be established as quickly as possible, and therefore I proposed Abromavicius to get tested with a polygraph as well as to take part in a cross interrogation."
"I hope that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau will not slow down the investigation through Abromavicius' failure to show up, and society will receive all answers," Kononenko stressed.
