EC Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič to visit Ukraine for political talks
European Commission Vice-President for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič will visit Ukraine for meetings with country's authorities on March 1.
This is stated by European Union Delegation press service, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.As reported, Maroš Šefčovič will meet with President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk. Šefčovič also plans to meet with Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Volodymyr Demchyshyn and Naftohaz Ukrainy CEO Andrii Koboliev.
In addition, he will hold talks with Verkhovna Rada MP's dealing with energy related issues.
As previously reported, Maroš Šefčovič expects the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (Sweden) to decide on the gas dispute between Naftohaz and Russia's gas monopolist Gazprom in 2016.
