Poroshenko did not send letter to Savchenko, - Tseholko

President of Ukraine Petro Porshenko only passed oral words of support to Ukrainian pilot Nadiia Savchenko, held in a Russian remand prison.

He has written no letters, presidential press secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko says, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"The president passed his support to N. Savchenko through her sister Vira and her mother. He has sent no letters," Tseholko said in a commentary to the agency in Istanbul on Thursday.
